If you’re in New York this week you’re in luck! NYCx kicked off on the 8th of May and continues until the 19th. The event features design from all over the world with exhibitions located around various parts of New York City. NYCxDESIGN, New York City’s official citywide celebration of design spans all disciplines of design and creates a collaborative platform for cultural and commercial opportunities, elevates established and emerging design practices and increases awareness of and appreciation for design by all audiences.
Irish Design is also represented by the guys from ID2015 with the Liminal Exhibition from May 15th-18th, celebrating the year of Irish Design.
"Liminal provides the impetus and space for a series of design-led collaborative relationships to emerge during Irish Design 2015.”
One of these collaborations is between the team here at Love & Robots and Niamh Lunny at the Solid | Fluid stand which will be present at the Dublin and Eindhoven legs of the travelling exhibition.
Check out this post from Wanted Design which showcases a list of Irish exhibitors present for the event in New York - http://www.wanteddesignnyc.com/exhibitor/exhibitors-wd-2015/irish-design-2015/
Makers & Brothers from Dublin are also present in ‘The Shed’ at the Standard Hotel in East Village, swing by and check them out if you get a chance!
